Caltex And Rock Ed PH Promote Safer Service Stations For Customers And Frontline Workers

Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), recently partnered with volunteer group Rock Ed Philippines to supply select Caltex service stations with liquid hand soaps and surface cleaners to provide a safe and healthy environment to the motoring public.

The liquid hand soaps provided by Rock Ed were formulated with an all-natural composition in partnership with a local organic soap distillery. The liquid soap provided to Caltex is mild enough not to dry the hands to encourage frequent handwashing but strong enough to keep microbes at bay.

These soaps are available at the following Caltex service stations where public handwashing areas are located: EDSA corner Scout Borromeo, Quezon City, Km. 62 South Bound, San Felipe, San Fernando City, SLEX, South Antonio, San Pedro, Laguna and Poblacion, San Pascual, Batangas.

Providing free handwashing areas at the stations for customers and staff is another health and safety measure put in place by Caltex and Rock Ed. Hygiene standards, regular temperature checks, observance of social distancing, and frequent sanitation of areas with high human touchpoints are also implemented in the stations. Customers are also encouraged to use contactless payment methods.

Rock Ed Philippines, a multi-project creative collective guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals have been partnering with gas stations to provide hand soaps in handwashing areas to encourage the public to wash their hands often to avoid the spread of the virus.

Motorists can find the nearest Caltex station using the Caltex Locator app, available on both Google Play and App Store. Find out more about Caltex at http://caltex.com.
